Hazel is a Scottish girl and Yeray, a Spanish lad. They decided to make sure it didn't rain on their wedding by having their special day celebrated on the beautiful island of Tenerife. Perhaps for Yeray and his family, this wasn't so much a destination wedding, more getting married in your own neck of the woods. For us Brits travelling out though, it was a great chance to explore a new landscape on this gorgeous volcanic island. Mountainous views with clouds that seem to crash in on them on one side and stunning views of the ocean on the other. I knew I was going to love this place.
Morning preparations took place in the absolutely beautiful Villa Finca el Drago, a private residence located in a botanic garden overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. A great place to spend a week chilling by the pool, playing tennis or indeed, hosting a wedding party!
Yeray & Hazel had their family and friends join them for an emotional ceremony in Finca Jacaranda on a lovely balcony that overlooked Santa Cruz. I Loved those palm trees and sweeping views down to the Atlantic ocean that provided a stunning sunset later in the evening.
Muchos dancing, including a congo line and attempted limbo'ing came later in the evening to the backing of traditional live Spanish music with everyone partying until the early hours of the next day!
Such a fun wedding to capture and loved getting to know this couple and their family. Thanks again for having me guys!
