I've known Hannah and David for a while now, they used to come into the coffee shop I used to own, so I was delighted to be asked to capture their big day.
Hannah and her girls had a laid back morning at the beautiful Eastwood House, a large spacious country retreat on the river, with views of Dunkeld and quiet surroundings. The guys had a great morning at Dunkeld House Hotel, getting all kilted up, comparing IWC watches and reminising about the craziness that persued the night before, I won't mention the Champagne!
We were onto Murthly Chapel on the stunning Murthly Estate. A long driveway surrounded by tall trees leads you up to the quaint Chapel with a beautiul interior and ambiance. I loved shooting in here as it suits my style perfectly, i'ts dark, candle lit and rich in colour and texture. The ceremony was beautiful and had Hannah, David and the wedding party close to tears at times.
The grounds at Murthly have a lot to offer in terms of photo oppertunities so I had a ball taking Hannah & David away for portraits after the ceremony. They are a super laid back couple and were very easy to have in front of the camera. I like having my couples concentrate on eachother instead of treating it like a photoshoot. Going for a walk with a glass of fizz and having a laugh is the best way to get relaxed photos!
The eveining commenced with a meal in the huge Teepee followed by some great dancing - and some not so great dancing later in the evening! Such a great party and over all a fantastic wedding to be a part of.
Thank you Hannah & David for having me, it was an absolute pleasure working with you!
